The PFL Road to Dubai event will take place on 2馃尦5 January, with the main fight being Usman Nurmagomedov vs Paul H馃巸ughes. In another bout, undefeated Renat Khavalov will face Brazilian Cleiver Fernandes. The fight will be in the lightest weight category. 

Renat Khavalov

Renat Khavalov is a 26-year-old Dagestani fighter who used to be a wrestler and he knocks out 75% of his opponents. Renat has never failed a fight and軎� is a former Eagle FC league champion. In his last fight, he knocked out Hikaru Yoshino at the UAE Warrior馃拵s league tournament. 

Cleiver Fernandes

Cleiver Fernandez is a very good jiu-jitsu fighter who can do the takedown from almost any po馃巸sition on the floor. However, he hasn't 嗟ゝought outside of Brazil yet, and he hasn't faced an opponent as good as Khavalov.

Expert Betting Tips

We expect Renat Khavalov to start the bout strongly, using his strikes and pressure. Fernandez will be looking to wrestle, but the Dagestani's discipline in the parterre will make difference. We think that the level of his opponents here is completely different. If Khavalov says he's going to win a lot in the PFL, Fernandes is just one of many Brazilian fighters who regularly come to Russia for paychecks.
