🅘Right after their victory at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, Spirit players were considered the main favorites for the EWC CS2 championship. And the Dragons lived up to expectations, confidently defeating MIBR in the most one-sided match of the tournament, losing by only seven rounds.
In the first game on the Nuke map, Spirit🔴 players dominated the first half on the terrorist side, finishing with an 8-4 advantage. After switching sides, they won five rounds in a row, securing the first win of the series by a score of 13:4. The second game on the Vertigo map was even more one-sided, with 🐻the Dragons winning the first half 11-1 and ending the series with a 13:3 victory.
Boris “magixx“ Vorobyev was the leader of the Spirit team in their opening match at EWC, racking up 33 kill♛s with 16 deaths. Donk is not the only one!
G2 Esports
Many doubted G2's decision to replace Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen with Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski two weeks before EWC. Although G2 players started their EWC campaign with a hard fought 2:0 win over The MongolZ, it did little to quell doubts about their recent🎀 roster change as Snax looked unconvincing in his first match at the tournament.
The MongolZ got off to a strong start against G2 in the first g𝕴ame on the Ancient map, where G2 only managed to take a 7-5 lead in the first half on the KT side. Both teams took six rounds each in the second half, leading to a 13-11 win for G2 on the first map.
The second game on the Inferno map turned out to be a real bloodbath and was only decided in ༒overtime, frustrating G2 fans who were hoping for a more comfortable win. This time The MongolZ led after the first half, winning it 7-5 on the CT side. The second half ended 7-5 in favor of G2, forcing it into overtime, where they won four rounds to one and eventu♒ally won 16-13.
Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov was G2's leader 𒆙with 49 kills and 32 assists. Meanwhile, Snax finished the match with 25 kills🅰 and 39 assists, including a disappointing performance on the Ancient map with six kills and eighteen deaths.
Expert Betting Tips
Both teams showed a completely different level of preꦓparation. If the Dragons as if never rested, the team G2 continues to be feverish and the sꦯubstitution is not quite in favor.
