Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, currently ranked number one in the world, has been cleared in an anti-doping violation case. This information was reported by Corriere della Sera, citing the CAS secretariat.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has opted not to appeal this decision, with the 21-day deadline for submitting 🦩an appeal already expired.
On August 20, the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) released a statement indicating that Sinner had tested positive in two dopiꦦng tests back in March. However, h♍e was not disqualified according to ITIA’s ruling.
Sinner went on to win the 2024 US Open, defeating American player Ta🐓ylor Fritz in the final in three sets, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5.
