The top American UFC promotion has officially announced a heavyweight bout between Russian fighter Alexander Volkov and Moldovan Alexander Romanov.
The fight will take place on March 11 during the main card of UFC Vegas 71. Insider Marcel Dorff was the first to report the confrontation.
Volkov, 34, last competed in the UFC Fight Night 207 in June of 2022, where he defeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik by TKO in the first round. He has 35 wins and 10 losses under his belt.
Romanov, 32, lost to Marcin Tybura at UFC 278 in August, 2022, by majority decision. He has 16 wins and one loss.
