UFC Fighter Zheleznyakova: France Is a Very Dangerous Country

In an exclusive interview with jeetbuzz59.com, Russian UFC fighter Darya Zheleznyakova shared her thoughts on the high level of crime in Paris, comparing the French capital to Russian city St. Petersburg.

Darya Zheleznyakova for Telecom Asia Sport
France is a very dangerous country. Not just Paris, but also Marseille, which I heard is particularly criminal. I spoke with Russian-speaking people here who mentioned that burglars easily break into apartments. A friend of mine was robbed; the door was broken, and things were scattered everywhere. Living in Paris is unsafe. It’s better not to go out late at night. You might get robbed even in the downtown, and I won’t even mention the poor neighborhoods. After experiencing this, you start to really appreciate Russia, where it’s really safe. In St. Petersburg, compared to here, there is hardly any crime. You’d have to be very unlucky to get in trouble, while in Paris it’d be easy.

It is important to note that Zheleznyakova will be fighting Ailin Perez on September 28 at UFC Fight Night 243 in 🎉Paris (France). The Russian fighter boasts nine wins and one loss, while her opponent has ten wins and two losses.
