UFC Champion Jones: I Always Wanted to Help People, Now I Beat Them for a Living

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones shared his thoughts on what he might have pursued if he hadn't become a professional fighter.

Jon Jones for Bloody Elbow
I definitely haven’t always been the good guy, but growing up, I always wanted to help people. So I went to school for criminal justice. I ended up dropping out, had a kid at a really young age, and now I beat up people for a living. It’s a lot different than what I thought I would be doing, that’s for sure.

His last fight in the octagon was in November♏ 2024 at UFC 309, where he defeated Stipe Miocic by TKO in the third🌳 round. He has a record of 28 wins and one loss, with one fight declared a no contest.
