Nate Diaz turns himself in to New Orleans police after arrest warrant issued

Former UFC fighter Nate Diaz was taken into custody on April 27 following an arrest warrant issued Monday by the New Orleans Police Department.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Diaz on s🎀econd-degree battery charges a🦄fter a video surfaced last Friday showing the fighter choking a man unconscious. The man was later identified as Rodney Petersen Jr. a popular blogger and MMA fighter.

According to police, Diaz arrived at the NYPD Sixth Distr🌟ict Precinct with his attorney present. He will remain in custody until his first court appear💫ance.

Nate voluntarily appeared at the New Orleans Police Department this morning. We are still waiting to see all the evidence and video footage that shows that Nate acted in self-defense.

Diaz is scheduled to have his next fight against famous video blogger Jake Paul. The fight is to be ꦓheld by boxing rules on August 5 in Dallas, USA.
