Monson has no intention of ending his career and will fight this winter

A representative of American mixed martial arts fighter Jeff Monson said that the athlete isn't going to end his fighting career.

"That's not true. Jeff Monson isn't ending his career. He will fight in December and January," TASS quoted Monson's representative as saying.

Monson had his last fight against Russian Alexander Ilyasov on October 29 in the Draka promotion. That fight was ruled a failure because of a prohibited punch by Ilyasov.

In August of this year, Monson was in the cage against Viacheslav Datsik at REN TV Fight Club tournament. The fight took place by MMA rules. This confrontation ended in Jeff's defeat by unanimous decision of the judges.
