British UFC fighter of Dagestan origin Muhammad Mokaev said that after he becomes champion of the promotion, he intends to open his own gym.

I want to give back to this country, I want to give back to the younger generation, motive them. I see a lot of kids now on the streets... In my gym once I become a UFC champion I want to open [my own] gym and get the kids out of the streets.
Previously, Mokaev asked the UFC management not to list Russia as his birthplace.
Mokaev last appeared in the Octagon in 🍬March 2023 at UFC 286, defeating Jafel Cavalcante Filho by submission in the third round. In October 2022, at UFC 280, he defeated Malcolm Gordon by third-round submission. 22-year-old Mokaev has ten wins and no losses under his belt.
