UFC lightweight fighter Dustin Poirier has reacted to former featherweight champion Max Holloway's decision to continue his career in the lightweight division.

Poirier previously stated thaꦜt he plans to have one more fight before retiring.

It's worth noting that Poirier and Holloway have faced each other twice in the octagon. In February 2012 at UFC 143, Dustin defeat𝕴ed Max with a submission (triangle choke and armbar) in the first round. Later, in April 2019 at UFC 236, Poirier secured victory by unanimous decision.

Poirier has an impressive record of 30 wins and nine losses, with one fight de✅emed a no꧂ contest. Holloway boasts 26 wins and eight losses.
