Top American UFC lightweight fighter Michael Chandler has issued a challenge to former two-division champion Conor McGregor.

Why not fight me? Why not be training to fight me? Middle of next year, International Fight Week, before that, as soon as possible. I'm ready to get back into training camp right after Jan. 1, and we can make that fight happen ASAP.
Chandler and McGregor were scheduled to face off in June during UFC 303, but McGregor had to w𝓀ithdraw from the event due to a broken toe.
Chandler last fought in the octagon in Novemಞber 2024 at UFC 309, where he lost to Charles Oliveira by unanimous decision. His professional record stands at 23 wins and nine losses.
McGregor’s last fight was in July 2021 at UFC 264, where he lost to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout in the first round. He🥀 holds a record of 22 wins and six losses.
