Brady: Someone texted my wife that if I beat Belal, they would kill me and bury me in the desert

American UFC welterweight Sean Brady said that before his fight against compatriot Belal Muhammad at UFC 280, his opponent's fans threatened his life.

Sean Brady
Somebody texted my wife that if I beat Belal, they would kill me and bury me in the desert. These fans... They're scumbags. Don't get me wrong, there are good fans, but there are people who sit around and text you from fake pages. I just read the message, "You're a piece of shit." They write the wildest words to you. I try not to read the messages anymore. But my wife, a certified nurse, takes care of people while they are threatening her.

On Oct. 22 at UFC 280, Muhammad defeated Brady by technical knockout in the second round.

Brady, 29, had previously entered the Octagon last November at UFC Fight Night 198, defeating Michael Chiesa by unanimous decision. He has 15 wins and one loss under his belt.

It' the fourth win in a row for Muhammad. He has 22 wins and three losses under his belt.
