Former UFC fighter and current commentator Michael Bisping said he believes Brazilian Vitor Belfort is the biggest cheater in mixed martial arts history.

The former light heavyweight champion, the former heavyweight champion, the former middleweight contender, and the biggest known drug cheat in the history of the sport ā alongside Wanderlei Silva. This guy is the biggest cheat in the history of combat sports and itās mainly to do with steroids.
"Look, weāre not putting a ball in a basket, weāre not trying to kick a ball into the back of the net, weāre trying to knock our opponents unconscious and if youāre taking steroids all the time, then Iāve got no respect for you whatsoever. Youāre not respecting the sport, youāre not respecting yourself, youāre not respecting your opponent. Itās dangerous, itās disgusting and Iāve just got no respect for it whatsoever," Bisping said.
The fight between Bisping and Belfort took place in January 2013 at UFC on FX 7. Vitor won by TKO in the second round. After the fight, Bisping suffered a retinal detachment, which eventually led to the loss of his eye.
In April 2023, Belfort defeated Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza by unanimous decision at Gamebred Boxing 4. Bisping, however, believes that Vitor went back to his old habits due to the lack of doping tests.
