Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has expressed his interest in facing undefeated middleweight Khamzat Chimaev.

I was surprised at the way Khamzat ran through Rob. That was crazy. That was like wow. That made me want to fight him. I was like OK, sh**, this guy’s actually really, really good.

Adesanya's last fight took place in August this year at UFC 305, wher♔e he faced the promotion's middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis. In that match, which ended in the fourth round, Israel suffered a defeat by submission. ෴He holds a record of 24 wins and four losses in mixed martial arts.
