According to the Mirror, Liverpool are in the final stages of negotiating a new two-year contract with 32-year-old winger Mohamed Salah, whose current deal expires this summer.
Initially, Salah's agent pushed for a three-year agreement, while Liverpool offered only a one-year contract. However, after negoti🍎ations, both parties r𝓀eached a compromise on a two-year deal.
Financial matters were nꦉot an obstacle in the talks, as Salah is already one of the highest-paid players at Liverpool, earning a weekly salary of 400,000 euros.
Salah has been with Liverpo𒈔ol since July 2017, making a total of 370 appearances for the club, scoring 226 goals, and prov🐽iding 101 assists. His market value is estimated at 55 million euros by the Transfermarkt portal.
