Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored a double in the Arab Club Champions Cup final and helped Al-Nassr beat Al-Hilal, but he was not recognized as the best player of the match.
Al-Nassr won the match 2-1, but Ronaldo's Serbian 💙Sergej Milinković-Savić was named the MVP of the final instead of R🧸onaldo, who scored a double.
The Portuguese was outraged by this choice and during🃏 the awarding ceremony he vigorously discussed it with the organizers of the tournament, arguing that he was the best player in the final.
Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr in Jan🐭uary 2023 and wonꦏ his first trophy with the Saudi Arabian team.
In total, the 38-year-old striker played 25 matches for Al-Nassr, scoring 20 goals and making two assiꦏsts.
The agreement be𝓡tween the Portuguese player and the Saudi club is valid until 2025.
