Former Brazilian national team player Ronaldinho has expressed that Argentina captain Lionel Messi will be able to play football until the age of 50, as he now surpasses many in skill.
He also noted that he was not surprised by Messi's performance at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, despite his 35-year-old age.

But he's playing at a standard level for himself. He's been the best in the world for years. This is his last World Cup, but I was sure he would come and do anything to win. I think he can play until 50 because his skills are far superior to everyone else.
Messi played six matches at the 2022 World Cup, scoring five goals and making three assists. Argentina reached the final of the tournament, beating Croatia (3-0) in 1/2, they will meet with the French team in the last round of the playoffs.
