Defender of Spanish football club Sevilla Sergio Ramos has avoided sanctions for violating anti-doping regulations in 2018, Relevo reports.
According to the source, the 37-year-old player did not face penalties because the doping control was conducted by one officer, instead of🎀 two, as required by the regulations. The second person who attended the doping control did not have the proper accreditation.
Ramos came under investigation after he refused to sub🐟mit to a doping test after Sevilla's match against Malaga in the Spanish league in April 2018. Refusal𓃲 to submit to a test can be considered an anti-doping violation.
In September 2023, Ramos returned to Sevilla. In the current season, he played 15 matches, scored four goals and ma𝓡de one goal assist.
