Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique addressed the competition among the team's goalkeepers Gianluigi Donnarumma and Matvey Safonov.
Previously, in their 13th match of Ligue 1, PSG played to a draw with Nℱantes with Donnarumma in goal. Safonov performed for 90 minutes against Bayern Munich in the most recent Champions League game, which ended in a 0-1 loss.
Enrique stated, as quoted by AS:
I have three very good goalkeepers. They need to be ready to show their best versions. We haven't seen Arnau Tenas on the field yet. I want both Safonov and Donnarumma to be ready. I don't think one of them is above the others; I want all of them to be prepared.
Earlier, L’Equipe reported that Donnarumma was unhappy with Enrique's decisi🍷on to start Safonov in the match against Bayern.
