
The head coach of the England national team Gareth Southgate has made history by becoming the first coach in football history to lose two Euro finals in a row with his team.
On July 14, the Three Lions were defeated by the Spanish national team with a score of 2-1 in the final match of the 2024 European Championship. The match took place in Berlin at the Olymp𒆙ic Stadium. The only goal for the British team was scored by midfielder🦋 Cole Palmer in the 73rd minute.
The 53-year-old coach also led the England team during the 2020 European ꦦChampionship, where they lost to the Italian national team in the deciding match (1-1 in regular time and 2-3 in a penal🙈ty shootout).
