Former Polish national team goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny has officially signed with La Liga club Barcelona. The Catalan club announced his arrival on their official website, confirming the transfer from Juventus, where Szczęsny had previously played.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper's contract with Barcelona will run until the end of June 2025. According to the transfer website Transfermarkt, Sz𒁃częsny's market value is estimated at six million euros.

Although Szczęsny announced his retirement from professional football on August 27, the interest from Barcelona prompted him to rec💟onsider. He expressed a desire to return to the game and participated in negotiations for the transfer.
