Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Nick Mwendwa has told jeetbuzz59.com that he is finally🃏 relieved, the issue of the delayed Federation polls is now water under the bridge, after this weekend’s Special General Meeting (SGM) in Nairobi.
Nick Mwendwa
I am pleased that we can finally have this monster of elections over and done with, and move our football forward.
The elec🀅tions had stalled for almost six months due to various court cases, but after the weekend SGM, the road map, agreeable by all stakeholders, has been drawn.
Mwendwa told jeetbuzz59.com.
We have dragged on with it for so long, and we have to move on. I am delighted that both the electoral code and the board which will conduct the elections has been agreed on, and now we can do proper planning to have the elections as soon as possible
The𝓀 SGM approved a new set of electoral guidelines, which brought a middle ground, with most of the contentious issues agreed ✱on.
