Ceferin: UEFA Reinvests 97% of Revenue into Football, Supporting Women's and Youth Sports

Aleksander Čeferin, the president of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), shared insights about the organization’s non-profit mission.

UEFA's press service quotes Čeferin as saying:

Aleksander Čeferin
UEFA is not about profit. We redistribute 97% of our net income back into football. Yes, 97%. The rest is used to cover costs and support vital sectors of our sport - women’s, youth, and futsal. And when we earn more money, we give away more money. Who else does that?

Ceferin was elected as 🦄the seventh President of UEFA on September 14, 2016. He also automatically became a vice-president of FIFA.

Notably, last year, the organization earned approximate🔯ly 5.1 billion euros. TV rights were the main source of income, amounting to nearly 3.6 billion euros, which represents a 5% increase compared to the previous year.

Moreover, the UEFA Congress supported amendments to the organization's statutes, allowing the Sl♉ovenian president to run𒊎 for a fourth term.
