Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has talked about his view on the future of Argentine striker Lionel Messi at the American club.
The 36-year-old🌃 Argentine has been playing for Inter Miami since July 15, 2023, his contract with the club runs until December 31, 2025. In the current season, 🦂Messi has scored 11 goals and made five assists in 14 meetings in all tournaments.
ITASportPress quotes Beckham as saying:
We are very keen to keep him to help attract players and be involved with the football development of the club and football in the US. I think that will be a lot of fun for him as it’s been for me.
Earlier it became known that Messi was not includ🌳ed in the symbolic team of the 5th and 6th rounds of the South American selection of the World Cup-2026. Moreov🌱er, it was reported that in February 2024 Inter Miami will have a match with Al-Nassr, the club where Cristiano Ronaldo plays.
