Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez, who was recovering from a previous injury, has suffered a new strain to his right thigh muscle during a team training session, as reported on the official website of the Spanish club.
Lopez is expected to spend approximately anothe🐷r three weeks on the sidelines.
He had already missed international matches with the Spanish national team iꦰn the Nations League against Serbia and Switzerland, as well as a La Liga game against Girona on September 15, due to issues with the back of his thigh. His return was initially scheduled for next week.
The 21-year-old Lo꧋pez is a graduate of Barcelona's academy and has played 45 official matches for t🐼he team, scoring 11 goals.
