According to publication Barron’s, citing anonymous sources, around 100 people have died following a mass brawl among fans at a football match in Nzerekore, Guinea's second-largest city.

The incident reportedly began due to controversial referee decisions which included showing a red card and awarding a penalty against one of the teams, igniting a violen🦩t clash among fans.
This match was part of a championship honoring Guinea's rebel leader, Colonel M𝕴a🃏madi Doumbouya.
