On the night from November 25 to 26 in Las Vegas (USA) WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo of the United States held a non-title fight in the interim weight (up to 74 kg) with his compatriot Jose Benavidez.
The bout went the full distance and ended with Charlo winning by unanimous decis﷽ion of the judges (100-90, 99-91 and 9ꦚ8-92).
Charlo, 33, had his previous fight in June 2021, defeating Juan Macias Montiel by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 33 wins (22♏ by knockout) and no losses on his꧋ record.
Benavidez, 31, previously stepped into the ring in August 202𒈔3, defeating Sladan Janjanin by technical knockout in the fifth round. He has 28 wins🤪 (19 by knockout), three losses and one draw.
