The World Boxing Association (WBA) has announced that German boxer Mahmoud Omeirat Charr, previously known as Manuel Charr, has reclaimed the WBA regular heavyweight title and is scheduled to make a title defense against Jarrell Miller by October 14.
According to the website of the organization, reinstating Charr as champion was part of the agreement th🦹at ended the legal battle between the boxer and the WBA.
Recall that Charr did not enter the ring for a long time and was stripped of his WBA (Regular) title due to inactivity in January 2021. After t🃏hat, Daniel Dubois, who def🐻eated Trevor Bryan, became the regular champion of the WBA.
C🐻harr, 38, last fought in December 2022, defeating Nuri Seferi by technical knockout in the second rounღd. He has 34 wins (20 by knockout) and four losses on his record.
