With coronavirus once again wreaking havoc in the USA, the NBA has urged players to take booster shots as soon as🐼 possible. The league has seen a significant increaseꦿ in positive COVID-19 cases among its player and their family. There are at least nine players who have returned positive tests and have been placed in the league’s health and safety protocols for now. Apparently, the booster shot acts as a better shield after the dual vaccination.
Considering the situation, the league has prioritized the usage of booster shots to safeguard against the persistent threat of COVID-19. Around 97% of the playe💧rs in the league are vaccinated, however, some players including the high-profile case of Kyrie Irving have not taken the vaccine. Kyrie has not been allowed by the Nets to pl𝔉ay in any of the games due to him being unvaccinated.
