At the White House, U.S. President Joe Biden met with players from the Boston Celtics, the winners of last season's National Basketball Association (NBA).
During his welcoming speech, Biden made a gaffe by initially referring to the team as the Bulls, before correcting himself an🌃d asking the players, “You are the Celti👍cs, right?”
This slip-up provoked laughter fr⛄om some visitors. The President humorously remarked that he didn't understand how the bask⛄etball players ended up at the White House, saying they just showed up unexpectedly.
The Celtics players gifted Biden a personalized jersey with the number 46. As part of the traditional NBA champions’ visit to the White House, which dates back to 1963 when a team met with President John F. Kennedy, Biden took themꦉ on a tour of the Oval Offic💙e.
