A 17-year-old suspect was apprehended following the incident, which resulted in both the suspect and Pearsall sustaining gunshot wounds during a struggle. San⛦ Francisco police chief William Scott confirmed that both individuals were shot accidentally during the altercation.
Pearsall was drafted 31stꦗ overall by the 49ers in April and is set to turn 24 next week. He faced challenges during training camp due to shoulder and hamstring injuries, missing the entire preseason.
