The first UFC heavyweight champion and UFC Hall of Fame member Mark Coleman, who was previously hospitalized after a house fire, is once again in the hospital. This time, the athlete came down with pneumonia.
Coleman's daughter wrote on social media:
Yesterday my dad was released from st vincents in Toledo. We were only home for about an hour in Co🌄lumbus when he started to have numbness in his arms and chest pain. Of course my sister and I rushed him back to the 🍸hospital where we found out he has now developed pneumonia. He is getting rest and I promise to take the best care of him.
Earlier in the day, a fire broke out at Coleman's home in Ohio. He was able to save his parents, but his dog, who had woken him up, did not s♚urvive.
Coleman last fought against Randy Couture in February 2010 at UFC 109. In🔜 that fight, Mark won with a choke hold in the second round. He has 16 wins and 10 losses on his mixed martial arts record.
