Boxer Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov of Tajikistan fought against Zelfa Barrett of Great Britain in the boxing show that took place on the night of November 5-6 in Abu Dhabi.
The fight was stopped in the ninth round, ending in favor of Rakhimov by technical knockout. Thus, Shavkatdzhon won the IBF super featherweight championship belt.
In December, 2021, Rakhimov fought against his compatriot Sardor Muzaffarov. Shavkatdzhon won that fight as a result of his opponent's withdrawal from the fight after the second round.
