Former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson said that he has no intention of retiring and has shared his timeline for returning to the octagon.
Ferguson said in an interview with ♚Demetrius Johnson:
I've been competing since I was five years old in multiple sports. It's not like I don't know anything else. I do. I'm still able to compete. We're gonna take the rest of this season and figure some things out and we're coming back hard either January or February... I'm too o🔯ld to retire.
The 40-year-old's last fight took place ♔against Michael Chiesa in August 2024 at UFC on ABC 7, where Ferguson suffered a first-round submission defeat. His record stands at 25 wins and 11 losses.
