Portuguese national team forward and Al-Nassr player Cristiano Ronaldo has shared his thoughts on potential contenders for the prestigious Ballon d'Or award, given annually to the best football player in the world.
Ronaldo stated in a video on his personal YouTubeꦬ channel:
I think it won't be a big problem because of his talent. Mbappe can be the next Ballon🍒 d'Or winner. Him, [Erling] Haaland, [Jude] Bellingham or Lamine 🅰[Yamal].
Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or 𝔉five times. On September 8, during a UEFA Nations League match against Scotland (2-1), th🐼e 39-year-old became the first footballer in history to score 901 goals.
The ceremony for the most prestigiou🦄s award in world football will take place on October 28 at the Théâtre꧙ du Châtelet in Paris.
