The team has been shaping up in Dar es Salaam during the international break, and their coach, Fadlu Davids, spoke to jeetbuzz59.com on their preparations after this🥂 weekend’s friendly match victory over JKT, which they won 2-0.
The tactician says he feels the team is ready to compete, and underlines that their biggest ambition is to♛ reach the final of the tournament.
That𝐆 is the target we have set for ourselves as a team, b🍰ut of course, we want to go one match at a time. At the moment, the challenge is to get to the group stage, and we face a very strong and competent Ahli side. We have done our homework on them and we know it is not going to be easy. We want to go there and have a positive result in the first leg.

Simba played the first friendly match against Sudanese champions Al Hilal, alsoꦏ in Dar es Salaam, and Davids believes such a strong opposition gives them a glimpse of where they are a as a team.
We have perfected a few areas that we thought we🍬 lacked in a bit and we have ensured that we strengthen where we think we are getting it right. We have worked on a wholesome approach to the team.
