ꩲThe Croatian player came off the bench in the 10th round of꧒ La Liga, where Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 2-1. Notably, Modric provided an assist three minutes after entering the field. This means the midfielder participated in an official match at the age of 39 years and 40 days.
Modric broke the record held by legendary Hungarian player Ferenc Puskas, who played his l🐟ast match for Real Madrid in 1966 at 39 years and 36 days old.
This season, Modric has been involved in 13 matches across all competitions, contributing three assists. His contract wit✤h Real Madrid runs until June 30, 2025. A꧅ccording to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at six million euros.
