FIFA has introduced the logo for the upcoming Club World Cup, scheduled to take place from June 15 to July 15, 2025, in the United States.
According to a statement released on the organization’s official website, the emblem will be adapted and used for future tournaments as well. The designers drew inspiration for the logo from a football, as well as the hist😼ory and culture surrounding the world’s m♊ost popular sport. The initials of the tournament, C-W-C, are combined into a round icon.
As previously noted, the tournament will be held in a new format for the first time. The 2025 Clu⛄b World Cup will feature 32 teams from all six football confederations. UEFA has a quota of 12 teams, six from South America, and four each from Africa, Asia, and CONCACAF (North and Central America), with one spot reserved for a representative from Oceania. Additionally, one more team will qualify from the host country's domestic league.
Currently, 30 participating teams have been confirmed. An additional club from CONMEBOL and one from MLS will be announced in due course. The reigning world champion is England's Manchester City, who defeated Fluminense 4-0 in the final held👍 on December 22,⛎ 2023, in Saudi Arabia.
