Interim WBO champion and WBA junior middleweight division champion Terence Crawford has chosen not to exercise his right as a mandatory challenger with the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to face the current WBO champion and WBC titleholder Sebastian Fundora.
According to ESPN journalist Mike Coppinger, the two boxers have mutually agreed to postpone their fightꦦ until the second ha♈lf of 2025.
Ahead of tomorrow’s WBO deadline, Terence Crawford and Sebastian Fundora reached a resolution to allow Fundora to proceed with a voluntary defense with the understanding the junio𓄧r middleweight title unification will be explored afterward, sources told ESPN.

It is worth noting that on Au﷽gust 28, the WBO mandated that the boxers fight, granting them 30 days to agree on terms before proceeding to bidding in accordance with the orꦬganization's rules. On September 30, Crawford's attorney requested an additional ten days, to which Fundora's promoter, Sampson Lewkowicz, agreed.
