With coronavirus once again wreaking havoc in the USA, the NBA has urged players to take booster shots as soon as possible. The league has seen a significant increase in positive COVID-19 cases among its player and their family. There are at least nine players who have returned positive tests an🦩d have been placed in the league’s health and safety protocols for now. Apparently, the booster shot acts as a better shield after the dual vaccination.
Considering the situation, the league has prioritized the usage of booster shots to safeguard against the persistent threat of COVID-19. Around 97% of the players in the league are vaccinated, however, some players including the🔯 high-profile case of Kyrie Irving have not taken the vaccine. Kyrie has not been allowed by the Nets to play in any of the 🌃games due to him being unvaccinated.
